Make Intense Workouts Easy: http://sixpackshortcuts.com/rddt What’s up, It’s Mike Chang with sixpackshortcuts, and today we are going to talk about how high …
Hey Mike. Can you make a video explaining how to bulk up/get ripped doing
just calisthenics with little or no weights? I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!
great advice.. i clearly feel that when im training. pumping lighter
weights allows you to feel much better that muscle youre trying to work
than pumping heavy iron. I always do small sets with light weight before I
go heavy, and by the end of those sets I come back to light weight and feel
the muscle fibers working. It gives you some huge pumps. Notice that this
is not necessarily a drop set, since I dont keep reducing weights and
pushing til failure in every set.
If it aint hurting, it aint growing. Its all about form. If your form is
good while doing heavy sets, its all good. You can still have good form
when doing heavy, dont need to go light to have good form. Just leave your
ego at the door.
Awesome, been following your videos and its been great. Ive been thinking
of this the past weeks and trying it out. And i just happend to check
yourube and see this. Thanks mike
Also try doing “run downs” on the weights, that’s just what I call it, say
you curl 50s, max your reps on those, and right away grab 35s and max
those, then 20 or 25s, then 10-15s, not only could you not lift the 50s
anymore, but you’re making your Bicep work just as hard on those 25s and
15s, you’ll feel it!!!
Can someone explain what Mike is saying? What I’m interpreting is that I
should start my first few sets with light weight/high reps then on around
my 3rd or fourth, start going heavy?
Well, look at Kalis training-videos. Lightweight in a combination with high
reps is actually stimulating the growth (in volume) of already existing
muscle fibres whereas maxtraining is stimulating:
a) The intermuscular coordination and therefore strength because you body
learns to use more fibres simultaneously
b) Maxtraining stimulates your nervous system and builds up the resistance
of the skeletal and locomotor system
Therefore I conclude that Mike Chang actually gave a semi-right advice
which is equal to bullshit!
