If you are fat, like 25% body fat percentage, and start doing resistant tranning so you can “lose fat” you just waste your time. I didn’t say that weights trainning doesn’t consume calories, but the best way to lose weight is cardio, is to maintain your heart-rate at 50%-85%(where this is the losing-fat range) for up to 20, you maybe do this with weights but but the heart rate slow down when u rest between sets and raise up again.
But anyway, if you are skinny oh c’mon nuf said…
Well, while I agree that slow methodical cardio may burn fat, it isn’t the most effective. The process of resistance training, and weight training requires effort far beyond anything cardio (excluding circuit, HIIT) can deliver. Even if someone rests for 90 seconds, if they are using a high enough intensity, and high volume, within 20 minutes they would burn more fat vs 1 hr of cardio. At the end of the day, a persons diet, or lifestyle largely determines fat loss.
Precisely! But, individuals that go to sauna’s or sweat are only getting small benefits (as far as fat is concerned). It expends a small amount of calories, makes you become a fair bit dehydrated (reduces water wight temporarily). and elevates heart rate to the equivalent of a slow jog.
thank you (: i’ll note that down
you will not overheat with just a shirt or hoodie, so go ahead and wear them. if you think on sweathing more wear a waterproof coat, (this wil only help you lose water weight though, not extra fat so if you’re not hydradet enough don’t do that) hope i helped 🙂
At least you have a mind of your own and see what I’m saying. I don’t go out of my way to bash people, but if you spend time misleading people then I feel like I need to intervene. As a trainer, I see it a lot. He goes beyond his scope of practice and starts giving people nutrition advice (which isn’t very good)Some people swear by it, but a lot of it is nonsense. He’s definitely let fame get to his head. He makes vids he wants to make, and disregards some good questions from subscribers. Smh
look up the afterburn affect. it is mike’s key to his workout system. i looked up the research behind it and it is legit
Cardio, go jogging etc.

hey mike im doing 3kg bumbbells for a while can i do 5kg?i will be 15 at november plz answer me
I agree, Mike has kind of got to a point when he just tells people what they want to hear rather than what’s actually true. Happens with most people once they get fame.
Increase the frequency of chest exercises you do OR increase the volume and intensity of the chest exercises you do AND reduce the calories you consume to reduce BF%…it may be excess fat in that particular area. But, there is actually a known condition where fat does not leave the chest area at all. If that is the case, surgery may be a viable option IF thats the case
lol mike seen that parody? :D
many types of pushups i think
I actually heard that sweating a lot won’t shift the ends significantly but it does help. Think about people who go to sweat sauners after a workout. However, you need to watch what you eat as it can be all put back on afterwards.
You can’t target fat loss. You just have to do more cardio, and eat less.
tnax
AWESOME!
Best advice is…
Work out,, and eat heathly.
BAM… And you loose weight!! AMAZING HUH???
Ye” I did it..
Actually sweat is a great way to determine if your workout is intense enough. If someone wants to build strength, sweating shows how hard the person is working. Nowhere in the video did Mike say anything about cardio. He was talking about strength training lifts(bench press, military press, pull ups, curls). As far as health and nutrition goes, think of it this way. If you want to get strong fast, work/lift hard and rest little. If you want to look lean like Mike, eat right and exercise often.
