I was chatting with good friend of mine, Brett Shoemaker and we got in the subject of working out. He asked me a whole bunch of working out and diet questions bc he was trying to figure out what the best routine and diet he should follow. As we were talking, I found out that even though he didn’t know what he was doing on the workouts and diet, he still made it mandatory for himself to do at least 10 push ups every single night before bed.     He gives information that is completely wrong ALL the time. He said that ‘if you do cardio in the morning it burns more calories’, wtf ? I know most average people don’t know much about exercise and nutrition but how can you believe the shit this guy comes out with.

    i know nobody is going to give a sh** about my comment, but I’m sure at least one person would read it… guys! seriously… working out is not hard at all. just read… and get a little informed about foods and workouts. I did this and just dove right in to my OWN workout routine and diet. I have gained 9 lbs. of muscle in 4 months. the first month need to be simple excersises.. and from there… start doing compound excersises..meaning… doing an excersise following right onto another.

    If the pain/soreness is in your joints, that’s bad. If it’s in your muscles, that’s good. Don’t workout if the soreness is bad in your muscles. It’s sore because you tear the muscle fibers or something like that, so when they rebuild, it rebuilds more and that’s how you gain muscle. If you keep working out through the pain, it will get worse because you keep tearing the fibers, you will get the opposite results of what you want.

    I am not Mike, nor am I a fitness god, but I might have a good grasp at your question. It is good that your muscles are hurting, because that means they were broken down enough, and now your body needs to repair them and make them stronger.
    If you did a full body workout, give yourself a days break. If you did just one muscle (like your arms) and they are sore, go ahead and do a different body part while your sore muscles repair.

    healthy food you dont need to diet to get your body in shape you need to cut out all the carbohydrates and sugar drink. If you get hungry take a piece of fruit this is my meals for the day
    Breakfast- Weetbix and a orange
    lunch- bananna and grilled chicken on WHOLEMEAL BREAD!
    dinner- have a glass of water with your dinner it will fill you up much quicker i normally have an meal filled with iron and nutrition
