The Fastest Way to See the Results You Want! – Check it out: http://sixpackshortcuts.com/rdWy What up guys, It’s Mike with Sixpack Shortcuts and today I’m back to do some real talk. So listen…
Mike, can you make a teen workout video? I’m 17 and I weigh 195, and I’m
trying to lose at least 30 or 40 pounds soon as possible to get in better
shape for football and basketball next year
I have this problem that I eat very unhealthy whenever I’m stressed. As a
med student I eat crap a lot because I’m always stressed. How do I tackle
that, Mike?
Hey Mike! I’m 6’2″ tall and weigh 250’ish pounds. Do you have any tips and
tricks for me? I play a lot of soccer outside and play soccer at the metro
level as a midfielder and I just can’t lose weight, I’ve tried most of the
things here on your channel but it just doesn’t work.
for some reason a lot of ppl like to diss mike chang and im not gonna
lie, its funny sometimes. but yo this man has my respect for what hes
managed to build…
I have lost 15 pounds within a month by eating 1,200 calories/day. What has
helped me A TON is to eat dull foods (Chicken, eggs, etc.) with hot sauce
and jalapenos. The hot sauce and jalapenos actually tricks my brain into
thinking that I am eating something bad because there is an explosion of
flavors when I eat and it tastes great. I actually do not crave bad foods
because of this because bad foods also have an explosion of flavors when
eating it. I also have one cheat day a week (usually Saturday or Sunday)
where I eat whatever I want as long as I do not go over 2,500 calories in
that day. It seems like I actually eat a lot more when eating 1,200
calories because I eat a ton of healthy foods throughout the entire day to
keep me full and make me feel I am eating a lot. I turned this into a
competition or a game against my own self to make it more fun. I weigh
myself every other day which also tricks my brain into thinking that I am
losing more weight because it is over a span of two days instead of one
because it is a motivation killer to see you only lost 0.2 pounds one day,
but when you see that you lost 0.4 or 0.6 over the course of two days it
makes you feel great and motivated. I also made a fancy excel spreadsheet
where I keep track of EVERYTHING that I put in my mouth and made a chart
and line graph for my weigh-ins every other day since I like visuals. From
doing all of this within a month I have found out that the trick is to
trick yourself and make it a game instead of killing yourself and dreading
a diet. Once you get passed the first week of feeling weak, hungry, and
getting irritated about everything and everyone it does get a lot easier
and more fun. I hope that this little rant helps someone out there. I have
only 35 more pounds left to lose to get to my goal. I am determined more
than ever.
I like these real talk sessions Mike, it’s great to motivate people because
you can give people a workout, but it’s a bit harder to push people to
become disciplined. Good job 🙂 you’re actually who got me started when I
was 12. Now im 17 and using my own methods I gained 30 pounds of muscle and
got shredded, I decided to make a channel for it and help people get to
that level just like you help people. I think we can all benefit the world
some way :)
