Yes, but how many lives do those medications save? You probably don’t know, because you only search for what you want to hear. If you searched properly you would see they save an very high amount of lives compared to the deaths they cause through side effects. Their relative risk is incredibly low. They save millions of people, but you focus on the few that they harm.
This is what medicine is– Weighing the relative risk of each treatment option vs the benefit, and choosing appropriately.

My Dr. Perscribed me Vioxx before it was taken off the market! I am glad I chose not to fill it! Medication is not always the answer, medication should be last resort!
