I have wounds in my shins from combat. I swim and walk a lot.
I can run but not fast or for very long, I had a fair amount of damage.
Eating is Complex carbs, mostly salads with turkey and/or chicken. Lite dressing.
Lots of dairy for the calories and to limit the red meat as a protein source.
I’m tired of rice or noodles as a carb.
Any advice?
My neighbors claim Humus on pita bread with veggies, I love it, but I lose energy in the pool.
Thank you.
