There’s an intermediate storage system in the body, one that gives you one last chance to burn off excess carbs before they convert to fat, and that’s the glycogen storage system, where glucose is stored in the liver and the muscles.
I would caution against eating too much fruit, as the fructose in fruit has to be processed by the liver, and excess fructose will turn to fat faster than excess glucose. Any more than 3 portions fruit a day is probably excess.
I think there are 3 keys to burn fat:
1- Drink 3 cups of green tea a day 30 minutes before meals.
2- play any kind of sport you like for half an hour a day.
3- know what you eat based on what your body needs.
Medical Science only makes money when your sick… So where is their motivation to make you healthy… I’ve heard in ancient china they paid their local doctor a small regular fee until they got sick, Then they would not pay him again till he made them well, that way he was motivated to keep all his patients well all the time… makes sense to me.
People eat more transfats than they think. Its really easy to round down 0.4 grams of trans fat to zero and then even advertise “ZERO TRANS FAT” in huge colorful letters. In fact, you can adjust the serving size on almost anything so you can claim zero.
If there was regulation that required transfat to be stated in milligrams, I’d be all for it! Its that bad for you!
Hilarious how Atkins diet is pretty much spot on. (Except how the first week is supposed to be zero carbs. I don’t even know how in the world you would do that… Nothing but meat?)
Eat less than 100 grams of carbs a day if you are trying to lose weight otherwise you’ll be pedaling in the wrong direction!
My new favorite dish: Meat and veggies fried up with some spices. A piece of fruit for dessert.

@psychetruth - the goal is not to frighten people into believing that whenever they ingest sugar, especially at levels as low as a teaspoon that they are going to go into a “diabetic state”. The limiting of refined sugars within the diet is the goal of a nutritionist/dietician, not fear. That’s what I’m saying, sugar has its benefits like anything else when used in moderation. Thanks.

that’s oversimplified,if you eat something that creates acidosis those will get directly into you fat cells as a way of keeping the blood to the optimal ph.

We eat many vegetables and awesome fruits here, that is true.
But I think the main issue with unhealthy alimentation has to do with: products (no GM food, and more use of local farms), and how you purchase them (local market, vs chains stores), prepear it (COOK, cooking is culture), and actualy eat it (SLOW no hurry, NO FAST FOOD/EATING).
People in Spain and Italy and some in France, get a 1 hour brake to eat at mid day, some even more… SLOW
Sickness within any given population is pretty much inevitable (either through birth defects, aging or environmental exposure). It’s pretty unfair to suggest that doctors/medical scientists would be so sadistic as to surreptitiously promote unhealthiness for personal gain,

Our bodies are 70% corn? I recall hearing years ago, that we are about 80% water! Something don’t seem right here.
Also, if all this food is so bad for us, WHY is it still here? You would think that the medical science, and the food admin, would have acted on our behalf, and eliminated that which is bad for us!
Is a carbonated drink such as seltzer water that hasn’t been sweetened at all considered toxic?
