Very enlightening! I am looking to avoid being a pilled up zombie, due to my mental health issues and I am glad to hear the information in ghi whole channel! Bravo
You guys must be talking to some pretty shady Psychiatrists. Medication is only part of the solution. They refer you to a Therapist who encourages you to make the Lifestyle changes to which you refer.
Psychiatrists and the medication the cram down people’s throats ARE the placebo.
Telling people to eat right and exercise will work for a few, but don’t degenerate those who need a little hands on help from a Therapist and a Witch-doctor, Warlock, Psychiatrist or sugar pilll.
I used to be on a regular prescription of both Xanax and Lexapro. (I’m both a depressive and suffer GAD). Dropped them both after a year… All the did was foster addiction.
…of so-called psychiatric therapeutics put together. There has been no progress, only now the gulf that separates psychiatric claim from truth is wider than ever.
Some of this is obvious, like the idea of mind over matter (ie. that placebos are real and effective). People know this intuitively, it’s just that they’re being duped by psychiatrists into thinking that they’re not responsible for their mental disorders
…fact. First off, no pathological substrate has been discovered for any of these “disorders”, no biological or genetic markers, as has been conceded by the head of the NIMH only recently. Mortality rates haven’t improved in the era where the paradigmatic “treatment” is drugs, in fact, they are often much worse. In America, “schizophrenics” are dying on average 25 years younger on these drugs that supposedly ushered in a glorious new age of psychiatry.
I assume that you are saying there has been real progress in psychiatry, a rupture between the present and the past that flatters the latter. Allow me to disabuse you of this notion. Such claims are based on a synergistic combination of willful ignorance, ethnocentric delusion, propaganda and a popular credulity in relation to experts. No amount of dismissing critiques as “1960s”, or any other transparent verbal ploy the psychiatric faithful use in lieu of facts, is going to change this…
I was watching a few of your other videos. They are really informative but “Corrina”, I couldn’t help notice, the silly comments under some of the videos where some people commented on your choice of clothing WTF! I cannot believe that anybody would be so stupid as to comment on you wearing a low cut top in some videos, when your consistently putting out high quality content that you will not find in the main stream media! You are a shining light and such a positive influence, keep it going 🙂
Ok so how do you deal with severe case of O.C.D. with Anorexia disorder in a man.
Also how dose a man deal with depression and chronic fatigue syndrome with all the above mentioned disorder’s and anxiety disorder…with out using drugs or exercise due to prior compulsive exercise which caused a heart attack at 38..now the man is 42 any helpful idea’s please help…thanks
It will not hurt to try, if it works for you keep it in moderation, dont worry though its not physically addictive just can be a bad habit to smoke or use anything all the time.
The employment of coercion for recalcitrant patients is higher than ever, only now the reach of involuntary psychiatry has expanded to include patients in the community. Diagnoses are as invalid and unreliable as ever. They still find their way into the DSM by consensus. Recovery rates are as woeful as woeful with modern “treatments” as they are with older ones. These supposedly revolutionary treatments have been responsible for more brain damage and disease than just about every other age…
